Castle Winery Professional Wine Collection Network-Recycling Chateau Ausone 2004 (Ausone/Ausone) Red Wine

The 2004 Château Ausone red wine embodies the winery's commitment to traditional winemaking techniques and its unparalleled pursuit of quality. This vintage is primarily a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes sourced from ancient vines on the Ausone estate's limestone soils. The winery rigorously controls every step of the winemaking process, from hand-picking to meticulous selection, to ensure only the highest-quality grapes enter fermentation. Fermentation takes place in traditional open oak barrels, followed by a lengthy aging period, typically 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels.

This wine exudes aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and other dark fruits, accompanied by elegant, subtle notes of spice, earth, and minerality. Its body is firm yet balanced, with fine, silky tannins and just the right amount of acidity, giving it excellent structure and aging potential. With age, the 2004 Château Ausone will develop even more complexity and richness, becoming a benchmark among Right Bank Bordeaux wines.

Château Distillery provides high-priced recycling and professional identification services. Please feel free to contact us.
