Romanée-Conti and DRC Essentials: Burgundy Collecting and Resale Value

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC), located in the Côte de Nuits, is a global icon of fine wine. Its wines are renowned for their depth, complexity and ageing potential, and every year they appear among the world's 50 most expensive wines. The most expensive is the wine from the Romanée-Conti vineyard, whose production is extremely limited, at about 6000 bottles a year—less than 1/50 of Lafite's production. In Robert Parker's assessments, every vintage of Romanée-Conti has scored above 90 points, while the 2005 received 99–100 points.
