We mainly buy fine wines from leading estates, in several broad categories:

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC)

DRC is one of our core buyback categories, and we consider all of its grands crus:

• Romanée-Conti
• La Tâche
• Échezeaux
• Grands Échezeaux
• Montrachet
• Richebourg

Bordeaux First Growths

We consider all five First Growths:

• Château Lafite Rothschild – One of the estates with the strongest demand in Asia, especially the 1982 vintage.
• Château Latour – Firmly structured, with exceptional ageing potential.
• Château Margaux – Often regarded as the most elegant in style among the five.
• Château Mouton Rothschild – Its artist-designed label changes every year and is collectible in its own right.
• Château Haut-Brion – The oldest estate among the five.

Other Leading Estates

We also consider the following wines:

• Pétrus – One of Pomerol’s foremost estates; vintages such as 1982 and 1990 are particularly sought after.
• Le Pin – A pioneer of Bordeaux garage wines, produced in extremely small quantities.
• Château Ausone – One of the oldest leading estates on Bordeaux’s Right Bank.
• Château Pavie – A Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé A whose prices have risen noticeably in recent years.

2. How is the price calculated?

The buyback price mainly depends on four factors:

• Estate and vintage—classic vintages from leading estates naturally command more, while less popular vintages are priced lower.
• Condition—fill level, label condition and whether the capsule is intact directly affect the quotation.
• Market conditions—we refer to Liv-ex international trading data and recent auction results.
• Packaging completeness—an original wooden case (OWC) will usually support a better price.

3. What is the buyback process?

There are four steps, usually completed in one or two days:

2. We review the information and reply with an initial quotation.
3. Once both parties agree, we arrange a time for collection at your premises or delivery to our shop. Service covers Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories and Macau.
4. If the on-site inspection is satisfactory, payment is made in cash or by bank transfer.

4. Do you buy a single bottle?

Yes. We consider a single bottle and set no minimum. Larger quantities may receive a stronger quotation because logistics and inspection time can be consolidated. For high-value wines such as DRC and Lafite, even one bottle may have substantial buyback value.

5. Do you buy very old wines?

Yes, if they have been stored properly. Many older vintages are especially valuable, such as 1982 Château Lafite Rothschild and 1990 Romanée-Conti; both have maintained steady market value. Send photographs for a prompt valuation.
