La Tâche is a Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC) Monopole of about six hectares, wholly owned by DRC and situated in Vosne-Romanée beside Romanée-Conti. Made from Pinot Noir, La Tâche is known for a full body, pronounced spice and mineral notes, and firm structure, making it one of the more powerful wines in the DRC range.
1952 La Tâche valuation considerations
For La Tâche, 1952 is a solid vintage with active market circulation. Bottles in complete, well-preserved condition are better positioned in the market.
Regardless of the vintage's reputation, the physical condition of the bottle remains central to the valuation: the fill level, label and capsule integrity, original packaging and provenance evidence all matter.
Main factors in the valuation of La Tâche
- Bottle format: Magnums and other large formats are scarce and may attract an additional premium.
- Storage conditions: Wine kept in a temperature-controlled cellar with few moves generally has a clearer condition history.
- Bottle condition: The fill level, any sunken cork, and the integrity of the capsule and label are especially important for older vintages.
- Provenance and packaging: Invoices, the original wooden case (OWC) and cellar records strengthen the provenance file; a complete case is preferable where available.
For a complete case or a multi-bottle lot, provide a full list and photographs together. Different vintages and bottle conditions can be valued separately; once agreed, handover can take place at our shop or by collection across Hong Kong and Macau. WhatsApp / WeChat: 96737259.
