Montrachet Grand Cru is an exceptionally scarce DRC white wine made from Chardonnay. Its very limited production, rich body, layered complexity and considerable ageing potential support strong collector interest.
2004 Montrachet valuation considerations
2004 was a more challenging or lower-yielding Burgundy vintage. Leading estates maintained quality through careful winemaking, but each bottle of Montrachet requires an individual assessment based on its physical condition and the current market for the vintage.
Regardless of the vintage, the physical condition of the bottle remains central to the valuation: the fill level, label and capsule integrity, original case and provenance evidence all matter.
2004 Montrachet: authenticity and security features; bottle condition; provenance; bottle format and quantity
- Authenticity and security features: Clear images of the producer's security label and reference number support verification.
- Bottle condition: For older vintages, the fill level, any sunken cork, and the integrity of the capsule and label are especially important.
- Provenance: Purchase invoices, the original wooden case, and cellar or merchant records all strengthen the provenance file.
- Bottle format and quantity: Large formats and complete cases often attract stronger market interest and may support a higher valuation.
For a complete case or multiple bottles, provide a full list and photographs. Different vintages and bottle conditions can be assessed separately. Once the details are agreed, handover can take place at our shop or by collection across Hong Kong and Macau. WhatsApp / WeChat: 96737259.
