Montrachet Grand Cru is an exceptionally rare DRC white wine made from Chardonnay. Regarded as one of the world's greatest dry whites, it is produced in tiny quantities and combines a rich body with immense complexity and remarkable ageing potential.
Selling Montrachet from any vintage
This page covers sale enquiries for Montrachet from all vintages. Surviving quantities, bottle condition and market demand vary by year. With older vintages, fill level, cork position and label ageing are key; with recent releases, the original case, quantity and complete provenance carry more weight. Provide the exact vintage, quantity and bottle photographs first, and we will indicate the likely valuation range for that year.
Main factors affecting the value of Montrachet
- Provenance: Purchase invoices, the original wooden case, and cellar or merchant records are all helpful; the more complete, the better.
- Format: Large formats of magnum size or above and full cases generally have greater scope for a premium.
- Storage conditions: Bottles kept in a temperature-controlled cellar and moved infrequently are generally more dependable in condition.
- Physical condition: The first stage of valuation considers the fill level, capsule fit and label integrity.
The process is straightforward: first provide the vintage, quantity, and photographs of the front and back labels, capsule and fill level. Dibao Wine will indicate a valuation based on condition, provenance and current demand. Once agreed, handover can take place at our shop or by collection across Hong Kong and Macau. Every offer is confirmed after physical inspection. WhatsApp / WeChat: 96737259.
